Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-03-02
Acceptance
By accessing the Red Ladder Forge website at boxvaultzone.one or enrolling in any program described here, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the site and do not submit inquiries through our forms. These terms apply to visitors, prospective students, and enrolled participants unless a separate written agreement explicitly overrides a provision. We may update these terms to reflect changes in our services or applicable law; the last updated date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms except where applicable law requires explicit consent.
User obligations
You agree to provide accurate information in forms, to keep credentials confidential, and to use our materials only for lawful educational purposes. You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to other participants’ workspaces, mentor accounts, or lab infrastructure. You must not upload malware, harass staff or peers, or scrape the site in ways that degrade performance. Training scenarios are fictional or explicitly scoped; you must not apply techniques learned here against systems without written authorization. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own work product. Violations may result in removal from programs without refund where permitted by our Cancellation Policy.
Governing framework
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under Korean law remain in effect regardless of this choice of law. If you access services while located outside Korea, you remain responsible for adherence to local laws that apply to you. Where translations of these terms exist for convenience, the Korean-language version prevails in the event of a material discrepancy, unless local law requires otherwise. Dispute resolution forums are described in the liability section below.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Red Ladder Forge and its instructors disclaim liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or participation in programs, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the site or informational materials will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific program giving rise to the claim during the twelve months preceding the event, or one hundred thousand Korean won if no fee was paid. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited.
Service description
We provide educational programs, mentorship, and career-oriented coaching related to offensive security practice. Content is informational and skill-building; it is not legal advice, accounting advice, or a promise of employment. Lab environments are isolated; real-world application requires contracts and explicit authorization from system owners. Program schedules, mentors, and module ordering may change to improve quality. If a change materially affects enrolled participants, we will communicate alternatives such as rescheduling or credit toward a future cohort where feasible. Publicly posted prices are informational and may change before enrollment is finalized.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the site or to a program for breach of these terms, non-payment where applicable, or behavior that endangers other participants. You may stop using the site at any time. Program-specific withdrawal rights are described in our Cancellation Policy. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive—including limitations of liability, intellectual property, and dispute resolution—will remain in effect. We may retain records as described in our Privacy Statement where retention is necessary for meeting legal obligations or dispute resolution.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise noted, site content, curricula, exercises, and branding are owned by Red Ladder Forge or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We grant enrolled participants a limited, non-exclusive license to use materials for personal learning during enrollment. You may not resell, publicly redistribute, or remove proprietary notices from materials. Feedback you provide may be used to improve services without obligation to compensate you, except where we agree otherwise in writing. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us with detailed information so we can review promptly.
Communications and notices
We send operational notices to the email address you provide. You are responsible for keeping that address current and for monitoring messages related to scheduling, safety, or policy changes. Legal notices to us should be sent to the contact email listed on this page with a clear subject line. Where law requires written form, email satisfies that requirement unless a specific statute mandates postal delivery. If you opt into marketing messages, you can opt out using the link in those messages; transactional notices may continue even after marketing opt-out.
Definitions
“Site” means the boxvaultzone.one web properties we operate. “Programs” means paid or unpaid cohort experiences described on the site. “You” means the individual accessing the site or the organization on whose behalf an individual acts, as applicable. “We” or “us” means Red Ladder Forge. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver unless acknowledged in writing.
