Red Ladder Forge adopted a newsroom posture because students deserve evidence-based pacing, not growth-hack cadence. Our field journal prioritizes methodology transparency: what we changed in a lab, why a drill slowed down, which assumptions failed. The writing is meant for alumni and prospective students alike.

We also publish contributor guidelines that mirror what we teach in Research Desk. Claims require citations or clear labeling as anecdote. We reject pieces that traffic in fear about unnamed vendors. The bar is intentionally high because readers use our language in interviews.

Editorial independence does not mean chaos. Our program director approves topics quarterly, and mentors disclose conflicts when writing about tools they advise commercially. The disclosures live at the bottom of each article in plain language.

If you want to pitch a guest post, send a short outline with sources. We pay a modest honorarium because writing takes time, and we want voices outside our immediate staff to appear here.
